Save Money on Utilities
If you receive your services from an English-speaking provider for telephony and broadband or from Movistar, Orange or Vodafone for mobile calls, you are probably paying over the odds for your services. We can help you to reduce your outgoings on your telephone, broadband, mobile and electricity costs.
Our guarantee is simple: if we cannot save money on your bills, then you pay NOTHING.
What do I need to use this service?
To use this service you will need to have one of the following:
- Paper bills from your energy or telecoms supplier; or
- Online registration so that you can see call history, including the length and cost per call; or
- For pay-as-you-go mobiles, an estimate of your monthly spend and the log of outgoing calls available from your mobile phone.
How does it work?
We scour Spanish web pages regularly to see who has good deals and special offers; recent clients have saved themselves over €20 per month by changing their tariff with Telefónica to their latest web-based offer! Meanwhile, another supplier is offering line rental, maximum broadband speed from your line, all national calls within Spain for €28 per month (plus IVA).
We will look at calls made and/or your telephone + broadband package over a period between one and three months to get enough information for your typical usage over a one year period. Then we will compare how much you paid with your current tariff and with what you could have paid using a different operator.
We will also take care of all the paperwork necessary to switch providers, whether you wish to keep your current number or want a new telephone line or mobile service; all this is included in the price below.
What is different about what you do?
Unlike all firms that advertise, we recognise that every person has different phone usage patterns, in terms of call length, frequency, proportion of international calls, proportion of calls to mobile phones, intensity of internet usage, and so on. Moreover, the options available to a town dweller will be different from a client living in a rural area. This is why we do not offer a “one size fits all” solution.
So what will all this cost me?
Our fees for each telephone utility are a flat rate of €50 plus IVA. We will not ask for any money until you can see the benefits of changing supplier, so you can see how much you will save in a year before committing to the service.
The savings from switching have run to several hundred Euros for many clients, so we would expect you to recoup the cost of our fees within no more than three months after payment.
To assist you in switching to the off-peak electricity tariff, our fee will be a flat rate of €30+ IVA (there is no research work involved, hence the fee is lower). Payback time on this fee should be less than two months, assuming that your electricity bill declines by 25% per month, a conservative estimate.
But I don’t want to change my number!
If you change providers, then your current service provider is legally obliged to let you take your mobile number with you, just like in the UK.
As far as fixed lines are concerned, the process CAN be time-consuming. One option which we can offer clients (depending on where they live) is to install a brand new line with a different operator and deleting the existing one. Most companies offer free installation at present.
