5 reasons why we are different

We appreciate that you have a very wide variety of web designers to choose from. Before you pick your web designer, make sure that you consider the following issues:

We won't hold you hostage

We believe that you should own your domain and site’s hosting. We have had experience of clients who have asked us to do work for them only to find that they do not own their domain nor have access to their web site’s hosting plan but that this is still in the control of their original web designer.

Ownership also gives you the flexibility to choose where you get your web design services. We'd like you to come back to us because you like what we do, not because we have a hold over you, and you'll never have to change your domain name.

If you would like us to do this for you, all we charge is a one-off €10 fee to cover our time in setting this up.

In-house marketing expertise

Unlike most web design companies, our involvement doesn’t end with pressing the ‘publish’ button. We have in-house marketing expertise (a Warwick MBA holder and tutor) to help you use your new web site to enhance your marketing strategy; a finished website is far from the end of using the web to further develop your business.

Personal service

Nothing to do with Luncheon Voucher schemes, more that we like to get to know our clients and their businesses! By fully understanding our clients' individual needs, we can provide a much better service. We do this through face-to-face meetings with clients and paying visits to their premises (where appropriate).

Transparent pricing

Have a look at our pricing page and you'll see that we try and give you an accurate idea of what's involved before you speak to us. When you get a quote from us, it will include everything that we need to do to design, test and publish your web site. If you provide the text and the images for the site, the costs will be lower to reflect this.

We also understand that having a web site created can put a strain on your budget and so we can arrange a payment plan to help you spread the cost; please see our Pricing page for more details.

We have come into contact with clients who were being charged €70 per month by their web designer for hosting. As a general rule, a hosting package should cost around €5 per month. In other words, this costs less per annum than the client was paying every month!

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

We design web sites using tried and trusted techniques that will, over time, produce good results with the major search engines such as Google and Yahoo! This is included in the price you pay for the design of your site.

What we will not do is to promise you an immediate “first page” ranking and charge you a premium for the privilege.
